A Trusted Friend for Nearly Half a Century

Friendsview residents taking a walkFor almost half a century, Friendsview has been serving the needs of seniors looking for a comfortable, secure, friendly and faithbased community. As a not-for-profit community, Friendsview is operated with the needs and best interests of the residents in mind. Our continuing care concept provides for your needs today and tomorrow, right here on campus. What’s more, we are a “Type A” facility, which means that if your needs change during the time you live here and you need a higher level of care, your rates will stay relatively stable, even though you may require additional services. This continuum of care offers you and your family peace of mind.

Our professional staff is here to meet the needs and desires of our residents. The staff works with residents to make our community a better place for those who live and are employed in our faith-based community.

A History of Caring

The Quakers have traditionally shown a great deal of interest in social concerns, including care for seniors. The idea for a retirement community in the Northwest had been discussed since the 1940’s within the Northwest Yearly Meeting of Friends.

The facility was incorporated in 1956 as Friendsview Manor. Dedicated in 1961, Friendsview has expanded to become the continuing care community you see today, with a variety of housing options to meet the needs of a variety of seniors.
