A Location Centered Around You
Friendsview’s location in Newberg and Yamhill County offers the best of everything. Being only 25 miles southwest of Portland, and less than an hour from the spectacular Oregon Coast, makes Newberg a great place to live. The relaxed pace and friendly people of the community combine with the cultural and recreational activities of the area to offer those who reside here a great combination of small town living, with easy access to the metropolitan activities that make Portland one of America’s most livable cities.
George Fox University is right across the street from our campus, offering educational opportunities, library access, theater performances, concerts, sports events, and other programs. Great golf courses, hiking trails, stream and lake fishing, and picturesque parks are all nearby. Have other interests? Just ask. There is something for everyone close by.
We find that residents here become so busy with activities, friends, and programs, they wonder what they did with all their time before they moved in. Most tell us they wish they had moved sooner so they could enjoy the atmosphere and carefree lifestyle longer. No mowing the yard, no painting or cleaning the gutters. All of those chores of daily life are taken care of, so that you can get on with enjoying your new lifestyle. Our goal is to make things simpler for you, so you have the time and energy to do what you want to do. That is why our campuses are centered around you!
