Resident Application Process
Friendsview is always happy to give help where it is needed
  1. Prospective residents submit an Intent List Application that lists their preferred residence(s). When openings take place, residents on a transfer list are contacted first, followed by intent list applicants with the earliest application date. Applicants may decline the opening and retain their place on the list, including instructions to not call until a specified date.
  2. Approximately six months before anticiated move-in, applicants will be asked to complete application materials. Upon approval by a review committee, a letter of approval is issued.
  3. Depending on the residence, applicants pay a deposit or earnest money (applied towards the entrance fee). Interior finishes may be chosen for the new residence, which can include carpeting, vinyl and laminate. Upgrades are available for additional fees.
  4. An appointment is scheduled with the director of marketing to arrange for the following:
    • Sign residency agreement
    • Pay entrance fee balance
    • Issue keys and other items included with their neighborhood amenities.

  • Facility Services offers four hours of free assistance within the first month of residency to help with any move-in needs (hanging pictures, programming TV/VCR, etc.).
  • Six free meals are available for residents and guests as a “move-in” gift.
  • A new resident luncheon takes place quarterly to provide residents with a helpful overview of services available.
