| A History of Caring! The Quakers have traditionally shown a great deal of interest in social concerns, including care for seniors. The idea for a retirement community in the Northwest had been discussed since the 1940’s within the Northwest Yearly Meeting of Friends. The facility was incorporated in 1956 as Friendsview Manor. Dedicated in 1961, Friendsview has expanded to become the continuing care community you see today. |
