Friendsview Residents Web Site
Friendsview offers senior housing in seven different neighborhoods, all providing residents access to the amenities and activities of the Friendsview campus.
Located in Newberg, Oregon, our retirement community is only 25 miles from Portland, and less than an hour from the spectacular Oregon Coast, making Friendsview a great place for retirement living.
2 Bedroom/Den Duplexes
Located adjacent to Providence Newberg Medical Center and the Chehalem Glenn Golf Course, Springbrook Meadows is an independent living neighborhood. These homes feature spacious two-bedroom and two-bedroom-with-den floorplans with private enclosed garages in a beautiful setting.
Studios, 1 and 2 Bedroom Apartments
The Manor is a five-story high-rise featuring studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments including views of George Fox University and the beautiful Chehalem Mountains. Residential Care apartments (see Health Services) are located on the second and third floors.
Creekside and Gardenside feature 81 studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments, many overlooking Hess Creek Canyon or the George Fox University campus. Creekside features three stories of apartment living. Residents have immediate access to all of the amenities.
2 Bedroom Duplexes, Four-plexes and 2-3 Bedroom Houses
Cherry Street Village features two-bedroom four-plexes, duplexes, and houses in a peaceful setting near George Fox University. These residences come with the same security and peace of mind as throughout our continuing care community. So, when your needs change over time, you know that you will have access to the level of care you need.
Located at the north end of our Fulton Street campus, Meadow Way features two-bedroom and two-bedroom-with-den homes in a beautiful setting, with some homes overlooking Hess Creek Canyon. Meadow Way is highlighted by spacious floorplans, upscale features and private enclosed garages, all in a scenic and serene park-like setting.
1 and 2 Bedroom Condominiums
Located three blocks from our Fulton Street campus, Friendsview owns 13 one- and two-bedroom condominiums in this adult community. Friendsview residents at Spaulding Oaks have access to all the amenities and activities of the Friendsview campus, combined with the independent lifestyle afforded by this beautiful setting.
This new neighborhood includes 38 hybrid residences on four levels. The term hybrid here refers to the fact that these residences are apartments with a duplex design. Unlike traditional apartment buildings, the unique shape of these buildings allows for each apartment to have two or more sides with windows.
Would you like the peace of mind of being able to receive Friendsview’s long-term care services – yet continue to live in your own home? If so, the off-campus residency program might be what you’re looking for. Designed for people who are unable to move to Friendsview right away yet want the security of knowing they have short-term and long-term care when they need it, this program is limited to 20 off-campus residents. Within five years of joining the program, off-campus residents move to Friendsview.
