Bob Knowles

Bob Knowles graduated from Whitworth College (now Whitworth University) in 1966 with a B.A. in psychology. He met his wife Kathy while at Whitworth. He graduated from Princeton Theological Seminary in 1969 with a Bachelor of Divinity (equiv. to a Masters). He was a US Naval Reserve Chaplain for seven years, starting while at Princeton. Bob then served as Pastors at Valley Community Presbyterian Church in Portland and First United Presbyterian Church in Newberg. In 1979, he changed careers to work in general construction. He and his wife Kathy joined Friendsview in September 2023. He enjoys art and has been a supporter and volunteer at Habitat for Humanity and Newberg FISH Food Bank.” Also, I served as Assistant Pastor at Valley Community Presbyterian Church in Portland and Pastor at First United Presbyterian Church in Newberg.
